November Snow In Southampton
An unexpected heavy snowfall blanketed Portswood, Southampton, this morning, catching many by surprise. Our team responded quickly, heading out early to ensure driveways and pathways were safely cleared, making it easier for residents to go about their day despite the wintry conditions.
More Phone Issues

Phone Lines Fully Working Now
We believe that BT have, at the second attempt, repaired the fault on our main phone line. This means both phone lines are now fully operational. Apologies for any inconvenience while we got this sorted out.

New Uniforms For Our Staff
White Lodge Care Home has introduced new, standardised uniforms for all staff. Previously, different coloured uniforms for men and women caused confusion. The new uniforms ensure consistency, helping both residents and visitors, especially those with memory issues.
How Small Things Can Make A Big Difference?
White Lodge is introducing high-contrast name tags to help residents with vision or memory issues recognise staff more easily. This will make it simpler for residents to call staff by name, strengthening relationships and enhancing the warm, friendly atmosphere.
