Care Services at White Lodge Care Home
At White Lodge, we cater for a variety of care needs. These needs vary from problems brought on by old age as well as dementia and their associated issues. The varying levels of residents' care needs are supported by the layout of the home. Our more independent residents, some of whom go out on their own, have the use of a quieter lounge with their bedrooms in a different, but still linked house. Alternatively care staff are always present in our busier main lounge, which means that most of our residents strike up friendships with other people who live at White Lodge.
Long Stay
The majority of our residents have made White Lodge their long-term home in Southampton, although we do sometimes have short stay or respite stays (see below). All residents move in on a month’s trial basis following a comprehensive assessment to ensure we can meet the potential resident’s care needs.
Respite/Short Stay
Sometimes it may be necessary for a resident to stay at White Lodge on an emergency or temporary basis, which we are more than happy to accommodate (vacancies allowing). This can be to give relatives a well-earned break or holiday. Sometimes illness may increase short-term care needs. Why not let us help for a short while?
